NEW HERE?

NEW HERE?

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating.

What should I wear? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel right at home when you visit.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?

We have services that meet on campus on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

There is no dress code for attending services at South Bay Church. Some attendees dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

When you arrive at a South Bay Church service, you will enter into the campus’s main lobby. You’ll be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our greeters. There will be some refreshments for you to enjoy on us, and you can check your kids into our kids’ ministry, SB Kids. There will be a 5-minute countdown to let you know when service will start, so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!

WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?

We always start our services with a time of energetic, passionate praise and worship. Once worship is over, we will share a few announcements about what’s happening at our church through video and live communicators. We’ll then continue our worship through an offering, which flows right into the weekend message. Most weekends, our Lead Pastor, Dr. David Speicher will preach. Our services close with a brief time to respond to God in both worship and prayer.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Our SB Kids ministry provides an amazing weekend experience at every service and every campus. Visit the SB Kids check-in kiosk where our team will register your children and give them a name badge with a parent pickup tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, your parent pickup number will be displayed on the LED screens to the left and right of the stage in the Auditorium. At the end of the service, simply show your parent pick-up tag to the security personnel upon entry into the SB Kids wing, then to a teacher in your child’s classroom and your child will be released to you.

HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?

The best way to get connected is through DISCOVER. DISCOVER is a four-week experience that meets on campus on Tuesday nights. We offer DISCOVER almost every month. In DISCOVER, you’ll hear our story, catch the vision and values of our church, and find out how you can join in to what God is doing here at South Bay.
